NetAV 是一個經由網際網路， 讓您從世界上的任何一處，收看由家中基地台播放的電視 /DVD 及其他影音內容的嶄新功能。此功能僅為私人使用，並不向公眾進行播放。

基地台（註： LF-B1 ）扮演的角色像是網路上的伺服器，而顯示器（註： PSP 、筆記型電腦、個人電腦等）則是客戶端。若要保護有著作權的節目時，基地台與顯示器可以相互進行驗證，並針對影音流內容進行加密的動作。

也就是說， NetAV 是經由網際網路來接收基地台影像的一種方法。使用 NetAV 功能，不僅在家中，像是利用飯店裡的寬頻線路或機場等公共無線網路，都可以經由網路收看自己家中的電視或影片。

使用 LocationFree® 的「 NetAV 」功能，您可以從家中將電視或電影內容，傳送到世界上的任何一個可以使用寬頻網路的地方。其步驟如下：

1. 在家中連接上兩部您最愛的影音裝置（電視機、 DVD 播放機或是 DVR ）。（註：相容於多數影音裝置與廠牌。）
2. 將寬頻網路連接至您的 LocationFree® 基地台。（註：寬頻網路的上傳頻寬（從基地台至網際網路的速度）必須大於 300kbps 。請與您的網路服務供應商確認此資訊。）
3. 當您出門在外時，只要連接至熱點或是其他的寬頻網路，啟動 NetAV 後，便可以透過筆記型電腦或是 PSP™系統收看所有您最愛的內容，還可控制家中的娛樂裝置。您的生活圈完全不受客廳的限制。（註：需要相容的熱點。部分需要使用網路服務的功能可能需要付費。）

進行 Upstream Bandwidth Test ( 連結至ChangeIp.com) ，瞭解您目前的網路連線速度。

進入頁面後，您會看到兩個大項： Start an upstream speed test. 與 Your current internet connection information ，後者告知您目前的網路連線資訊，包括 IP 位址、 Organization （提供連線機構）、所處地址（如：台灣）等；前者則將測試您的網路連度速度，按下「 Start testing process 」，將會出現「 Please wait while we process the first part of the test... 」字樣，等待後， Browser preloading has completed. 按下下方的「 Continue to Step 2 」按鈕，「 Continue to Step 2 」將會顯示為「 Please Wait 」，繼續完成連線速度測試，請等待最多 30 秒的時間， During this part of the test your browser is uploading a large amount of data to the systems so that this program may test the timing.

測試完畢後將出現另一頁面，顯示：
